Meet The Real Estate Tech Entrepreneur: Ryan Barone from RentRedi
In our latest real estate tech entrepreneur interview, we’re speaking with Ryan Barone from RentRedi.
Without further ado…
Who are you and what do you do?
I’m Ryan Barone, CEO and co-founder of RentRedi, a mobile-first property management software. I started RentRedi out of the frustrating process of being on the tenant application side of the rental process, and after talking to landlords saw an opportunity to fix the landlord-tenant relationship. Today I’m focused on listening to our landlord’s pain points and feedback with the goal of making RentRedi an easy-to-use mobile technology.
What problem does your product/service solve?
RentRedi reduces pain points in managing properties and landlord-tenant relationships. With one platform and one flat price, the entire landlord process can be managed within our platform. And, as a landlord’s portfolio scales, the price of RentRedi never does, I built RentRedi this way based on feedback from landlords when I first started the company! I want to help landlords streamline cashflow on new investments while also self-managing their current investments.
What are you most excited about right now?
I am most excited about our latest partnership with Latchel, a maintenance services coordination company. We are the only property management software with a direct integration with Latchel that offers our landlords 24/7 emergency and full maintenance coordination services. We’re especially happy to offer this solution for our customers because property maintenance and finding a good contractor is a huge pain point for landlords.
What’s next for you?
I am gearing up for our Series A round and looking forward to maintaining and scaling the incredible user growth we’ve seen in the last year.
What’s a cause you’re passionate about and why?
I’m passionate about providing opportunities to students in colleges & universities. Most recently, the RentRedi team has set up internships and hiring opportunities with Pace University—the university I graduated from!
